💡❓🤔 Ever wondered what makes life truly simple, efficient, and fulfilling?
A few months ago, sitting at a table for lunch, I asked a 97-year-young man in Potamitissa, Cyprus:
- "What makes a good relationship?" He said, "Fix misunderstandings fast."
- "What brings success?" He replied, "Do the work."
I expected long, elaborate answers, but I got the essence—the juice of it. I experienced the wisdom of a simple, uncluttered mind. Firsthand.
💡 Simplicity begins with simplification, it does!
Know the essentials. Shun the non-essential.
Simplicity in speech and actions starts with a clear, uncluttered mind.
Let’s clean it, tidy it, and create some space for inner wisdom to naturally arise.
😑 We get bored with the simple, lacking the patience to embody it.
So, we declare, "It should be more out there, this is too simple. More, I want!"
Without even trying to comprehend the simple, by putting it into action.
Simple is not easy.
😵💫 Tempted by more, newness, and complexity, we become distracted, lost, confused, and unhappy. Our head? So heavy, so full of the unnecessary.
🔑 Let’s rediscover simplicity, appreciate it, and put it to work—before we shout, "More, there should be!" Let’s practice the simple, again and again, until its power and value are revealed. Only then will we truly know if more is needed and what that more is.
🧘♂️ 🌬️ In Pranayama, the simple and essential is Vibhaga Pranayama.
Without it, what comes next cannot reach its full potential. Embody it.
🧍♂️ 🚶♂️ 🏃♂️ Proper standing posture, walking, or running requires healthy feet and ankles. Start there.
A long, rewarding journey requires thoughtful, proper, and uncomplicated preparation. Start simple. Embody it fully. Only then, if needed, add more. Don’t lose yourself in the endless search for more.
