Genuine Growth

✨ Genuine growth is not a mental trip, nor a mindless practice devoid of wholehearted commitment and deep interest! It comes from deeply engaging with the teachings through dedicated self-effort, not simply hearing and mentally processing them, or rushing impatiently to the next piece of information without truly absorbing the previous.
💡 Genuine growth happens when a student’s curiosity and self-effort meet the teacher’s guidance. A teacher never keeps the teachings secret but reveals them in a logical, step-by-step manner according to the student’s interest, commitment to practice, and ability to absorb. A student needs to be worthy of new teachings and techniques by genuinely practicing what has already been imparted by the teacher.
🔑 The key lies in how the student approaches the teachings. That’s why, from the same teacher, different students experience different outcomes. Some say, “These teachings are incredible, I’m transforming so much.” Others may say, “These teachings don’t work for me,” but no matter where they go or who they learn from, no teachings will take root unless their mindset and attitude shift.
🚪 The teacher opens a door, but the student must step through it.
✨ Genuine growth is not a mental trip.
Simply hearing the teachings does nothing.
Mentally processing them yields minimal benefits.
Practicing a technique mindlessly only brings limited, mostly physical benefits. Being impatient and fixated on "next and more" without fully engaging with the preceding step serves no purpose.
🌱 Practicing with a sense of wonder and full attention, uniting the mind, breath, and body in the activity, will begin to reveal the technique’s deeper secrets. Slowly, the student will start to understand and embody the teachings, experiencing their full benefits. Only then is the "next and more" safe to introduce, and it will be much more appreciated, as the results of proper preparation through the preceding step will become clear. 🥾⛰️ Walking through the door opened by the teacher has finally begun. The journey on the path of self-cultivation, self-integration, and self-refinement starts, in a proper way.
